Just about 38 years ago, this Italian young man from the Bronx named Peter Grandich, was sent the most beautiful Irish Lass ever to leave that small island in the North Atlantic called Ireland. Married in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland, he has become more Irish than many Irish Americans. He and his wife have been invigorated by their employment in the Irish Riviera (Spring Lake, NJ) and have all things Irish on their minds 24/7
Mary (Troy) Grandich and her lesser half (that’s me), very much look forward to two Irish events of ours, and invite you to be a part of them:
- Thanks to the Rushe family, owners of the Irish Centre in Spring Lake (where you truly feel like you’re in Ireland when you visit and on Friday’s, get to see the most beautiful Irish lass to be born and raised in Offaly), we’re both thrilled to host a visit from one of the great Irish sports celebrities, “Gentleman” Gerry Cooney on Sunday, March 12th from 2:30PM to 4PM. Free autographs and a special drawing of sports memorabilia to several winners who visited with Gerry.
- Mary and I are once again sponsoring a St. Paddy’s Race of Irish-heritage harness drivers, this time on Saturday, March 18th at Freehold Raceway.
